Higher Pennycrocker Farm Bed and
Breakfast - Boscastle
Kathy & Eric Hawkes offer you a warm welcome at Higher
Pennycrocker.

Higher Pennycrocker is a working farm, about two miles to the
north of the picturesque fishing village of
Boscastle.
At six hundred feet above sea level we enjoy
spectacular views of the dramatic North Cornwall coast. The grandeur
of the cliffs at nearby Beeny featured in the writings of Thomas
Hardy and whilst working at our local church at St Juliot, Hardy met
his wife Emma. The adjacent coastline, which includes a site of special
scientific interest, is a haven for wildlife including seals and
rare birds. We are just a ten minute walk from the six hundred mile South
West Coast Path which is England’s premier National Trail. There is
an extensive network of local footpaths which access the beautiful
Valency Valley and, a few miles to the south, walkers can enjoy the
magic of Bodmin Moor. North Cornwall has numerous secluded sandy
beaches, but, if you prefer lifeguard cover, we have Crackington
Haven to the north (three miles) with a pub, café, toilets etc.
